BEVEL GEARBOXES BT-SERIES BM-SERIES

The BT range of bevel gearboxes is destined for all gearbox applications which depend on reliability and variability. Compact dimensions and high transmission torque at optimal performance are of central importance here. Precision of the axes and bearing seats, combined with Gleason bevel gears to take high loads, are the basis for minimized tooth clearance and optimal transmission properties. The gearboxes are presently available in 9 sizes, each with a ratio range of i = 1:1 to 5:1. In addition, a further range of BM bevel gearboxes is available, which offers significantly greater torque at i = 1:1 at comparable sizes.

THE HOUSING:

  • single-component steel housing with maximum precision of axes and bearing seats, all integrated directly into the housing

  • high power density of the gearboxes through compact housing dimensions

  • drive-sided gearbox interface offers the option of direct connection of planetary gearbox pre-stages, as well as secure mounting of motor flanges

  • mounting threads on all sides of the housing allow for stable attachment of the gearbox in various installation positions

THE SHAFTS AND BEARINGS:

  • steel alloy shafts with precise bearing seats as basis for precise and heavy duty taper roller bearings

  • extremely precise positioning and setting of bearings through the use of ground steel shims and splinting of the inner rings

THE GEARS:

  • heavy duty bevel gears, designed and manufactured according to the Gleason process, result in optimal gearing efficiency, high transmission precision and reduced stress on the bearings

  • friction-locked, zero backlash connection of the crown gears on the drive shaft reduces the mass of the gearing component

  • precise gear setting by measuring the gear box components and 100% running test of the gearboxes in assembly

THE RANGE OF GEARBOXES:

  • at present, 9 gearbox sizes with a transmission ratio i = 1:1 to 5:1

  • gearbox can be supplied with solid or hollow shafts in standard and customized designs

  • best efficiency when high transmission performance is required. High efficiency levels of course result in a reduction of energy costs

VARIETIES:

On request, our gearboxes are available with differing shaft dimensions, with a special design and with fittings. Furthermore, the gearboxes can be equipped with a circulation lubrication.

SERVO HYPOID GEARBOXES - HT-SERIES

The compact and robust design of the hypoid precision gear boxes is suitable for specific and highly dynamic applications. Our specially developed mono-bloc housing distinguishes this series with extreme stability and provides maximum precision and efficiency. The highly flexible flange and coupling system enables our gearboxes to be connected to a host of servo motors without difficulty.

SERVO HYPOID HELICAL GEARBOXES - SHT-SERIES

The two-stage hypoid helical gearboxes are characterized by a very compact size with high power density. The hypoid gears designed for highest load capacity and smooth running and combined with the helical gear stage provide high ratios with a high efficiency compared to worm gears. By the fine adjustment of the pair of spur gears lowest backlash can be realized. Due to the alloyed steel used in both stages the backlash remains constant during operation. All common servomotors can be attached via the highly flexible gearbox interface. The gearbox can easily be mounted with the flange and the centering.

THE HOUSING:

  • aluminum housing with high precision bearing seats and an integrated input shank which ensures a secure motor connection via a housing rib

  • high power density of the gearboxes through compact housing dimensions

  • highly flexible gearbox interface via the motor flange for connecting all common servo motors

  • mounting holes on the output side with the option of mounting threads on top or bottom of the housing provides secure connection of the gearbox for various installation positions
