PRECI-FLEX® Type 1 ER
Collet Chuck Standard Adapter meets the highest demands from our customers. The adapter has three major advantages:
1) extends the drill or endmill away from the face of the tool holder for additional reach, which is typically
desired if working close to the OD or ID of the work piece. 2) adapter can be identical to the ER pocket that fits
into or the ER chuck can be reduced to the next size smaller. Reducing the pocket size will open up the bottom end
of the clamping range. And the universally common feature amongst all adaptors, 3) allows for offline presets for
the next job. This feature allows you to preset tool lengths in our
PRECI-FLEX® adapters offline while the tool
base remains operational in the machine. Presetting offline is a remarkable time saver because your machine is
running and making parts while getting the next job preset. Each adapter is equipped with a set screw at the
bottom of the chuck to act as an adjustable stop.
