Transform your original boring bar holder into a quick change tool base in two simple steps by using the PRECI-FLEX® Boring Bar Holder adapter in conjunction with our Type 12 Straight Shank PRECI-FLEX® Chuck. First step, the Type 12 Straight Shank PRECI-FLEX® Chuck base is installed into an existing boring bar holder. Once the shank is secure, your boring bar holder will have a shank with a PRECI-FLEX® interface at the end of it. Second, install the boring bar holder adapter in the Type 12 Straight Shank PRECI-FLEX® Chuck. At this point, the original boring bar holder in the machine is transformed into a quick change base with a boring bar holder cartridge to preset offline and quickly change out shank sizes or replace boring bars. Within an ER size, any PRECI-FLEX® adapter will mount to the Type 12 Straight Shank PRECI-FLEX® Chuck interface.
