The PRECI-FLEX® Collet Chuck Extended Small allows you to get into narrow holes and/or to use micro inserts in two ways; 1) the collet is farther extended from the face and 2) the pocket is sized down for clamping micro inserts. These narrow or small restrictions can lead to costly solutions when retooling for this kind of job. In order to keep the job on your turning center, you can keep your tool holder that was too large for the job before in the turret and put a new adapter in the collet pocket to transform it into a working tool holder. Each adapter is equipped with a set screw at the bottom of the chuck to act as an adjustable stop. < Back
